1. No Deforestation Policy

“We prevent deforestation throughout our business activities and conserve sustainable forest ecosystems.”

Bion Diagnostics has established and follows a No Deforestation Policy to prevent deforestation caused by its business activities and protect forest ecosystems in every country and region where it operates.

Core Principles & Objectives

  1. No Net Deforestation: We prevent and minimize deforestation throughout our operations, including raw material procurement, production, distribution and disposal. Through afforestation and restoration activities, we prevent the net loss of forests.

  2. Designation and Protection of Conservation Areas: We manage high-value areas, including IUCN protected areas and legally protected forests, as conservation areas and strictly comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  3. Four-Stage Risk Management: Based on baseline assessments and risk analysis, we develop and implement action plans for each stage: prevention → minimization → restoration → offsetting.

  4. Governance and External Collaboration: An ESG council involving senior management reviews policy implementation. We work with governments, local authorities, specialist organizations and business partners to disclose key results faithfully.

2. Biodiversity Protection Policy

“We conserve biodiversity and minimize environmental impacts to live in harmony with the Earth's ecosystems.”

Bion Diagnostics complies with international agreements and guidance, including the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), CITES and IUCN guidelines, and gives priority to the impacts of its business activities on natural ecosystems.

Core Principles & Objectives

  1. Operations and Supply Chain Coverage: We prevent and mitigate biodiversity risks and proactively monitor potential impacts across our own sites, first-tier suppliers and the wider supply chain.

  2. Protection of Endangered Species and Habitats: We prioritize the protection of endangered, rare and endemic species, and participate in creating alternative habitats and conserving local ecosystems.

  3. 2050 Targets (NNL & NPI): We regularly review and measure environmental impacts, including effects on air, water and soil, with the aim of achieving No Net Loss and Net Positive Impact on biodiversity by 2050.

  4. Stakeholder Communication and Education: We provide ongoing biodiversity protection training for employees and stakeholders, regularly review results and manage our progress transparently.
